For Primary SchoolsEvery video lesson is accompanied by an easy-to-follow teacher planner, which guides the teachers through the lesson. The program also includes a Sign Reference sheet to support each lesson. The program is delivered in video form and signed by various Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. The team includes teachers, Deaf Auslan consultants, and high-profile Deaf talent.
Foundation to Grade 6This comprehensive and accessible Auslan teaching program is a step towards bridging the communication gap between hearing and Deaf Australians. It is specifically tailored for school-setting age groups, Foundation to Grade 6, with a duration of 45 minutes.
Victorian and Australian curriculum codesThe program is curriculum aligned with Victorian and Australian curriculum codes.
Australia WideThe Auslan program is available Australia-wide. Our video lessons are filmed in the Southern dialect and include Northern dialect variations. It is designed to teach the Auslan Language to your entire school when a qualified Auslan teacher cannot be secured.

How It Works?The Video lessons do the explicit teaching and are filmed by Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. The lessons include fun, interactive activities, and the Teacher Planner guides the classroom teacher through the lesson.

Auslan Education Services provides Overviews and Content statements for each Term. AES also provides every student with a branded Auslan Education Services wristband.
